If you’ve ever dreamed of being a DJ or radio host, Amazon’s new amp app review makes that possible. The limited-access beta version of the app, which is available now on iPhone, allows users to become hosts and create live audio programs using a library of “tens of millions of licensed songs.”

Unlike social media or music streaming apps, amp is designed specifically for the broadcast experience, making it easy for anyone to turn their phone into a studio microphone and start sharing their passions with listeners in real time. Creators can pre-plan and schedule shows, alert listeners to upcoming events and even control who speaks during calls from call-in guests.

The app is also introducing features that make it more accessible for first-time creators and fans to interact with their favorite shows. For example, the app will allow creators to add a comment box for their listeners so they can share their thoughts in the moment. Additionally, listeners can subscribe to show notifications and get push alerts when a new episode is available.

The company has already announced a roster of celebrities who will be creating shows on the platform, including rapper Nicki Minaj with her Queen Radio program. Other shows will be hosted by artists such as Tinashe, Travis Barker and Lindsey Stirling; radio personalities like Zach Sang and Kat Corbett; and media figures like Nikita Dragun.
